    The Roumillat family has been in business in Charleston, SC since about 1779. Roumillat's Auction was established two hundred years later in 1979.
Regular public auctions are held twice a month on the 1st & 3rd Saturdays at 10:00am. These auctions primarily consist of furnishings from local estates. Doors open at 9am and the auction begins at 10am with the best of the Antiques, Collectibles, and Quality Furniture being offered at ABSOLUTE Auction usually with NO Buyers Premium. At 3:00pm we sell the normal household goods, tools, etc. Very rarely will one find an item being sold with a reserve price that must be met. Instead Roumillat's is proud that over 99.99+% of the 600 to 1,100 lots offered at each auction are sold to the highest bidders.

Archived Auctions of the Past
The auctions below represent some we held this past year or so and the type of items we sell every month. Each archived auction has between 100 to 300 photos representing up to 1,000 items that were sold on that auction. By looking through some of these past auctions you can get a good feel for what we sell.

Roumillat's has sold art, statues, cars, and other valuable items for tens of thousands of dollars all at our absolute auction. We also sell estates with ordinary items often selling for $5.00. We are the leading auctioneers serving sellers and buyers in the Charleston SC area since 1979 and are happy to receive your consignment of an entire estate or just one item. We also liquidate businesses and inventories. As real estate brokers, both a REALTOR ® and auctioneer we can evaluate your real estate and recommend if an auction is right for your property.



Previews are held the Friday before an auction between 11am and 6pm.

Buyer Terms:
We accept cash, good checks with visa guarantee, MC/Visa/Dis/AE.

Usually there is no buyer's premium for payment with cash or check.

We are open Monday through Saturday 10am to 5pm for consignment drop off.
We have a 10,000sq. ft. Antiques Center next door open the same hours.

It may be possible for us to arrange pick up of estates and would be happy to serve you. Call for details.
